No Refund
Once payment has been submitted for an order, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Delivery delays caused by third-party courier companies
- Customer cancellations or changes after the order has been processed
- Orders during holiday or peak periods, where changes or cancellations are not feasible
Order Processing
Once a customer completes payment, the order is promptly classified as "processed" and sent to our production or shipping facilities to begin preparation. As a result, cancellations or modifications to the order cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellations
Canceling an order is subject to the following conditions:
- If the order has not yet been dispatched, we may offer to ship the order to an alternate address, provided the request is received promptly.
- If the order has been forwarded to production or shipping: Cancellation requests will not be eligible for refunds or modifications.
Once payment is received, the order is promptly marked as "processed" and sent to our production or shipping facilities to begin fulfillment. As a result, we cannot guarantee the ability to cancel or modify the order.
Order Changes
For changes to an existing order (e.g., address changes, item substitutions), the following applies:
- Customers must contact us immediately after placing the order at info@christmasgiftbaskets.com or via phone.
- Changes are not guaranteed, especially during busy or holiday periods.
- During holiday periods (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's), at least seven days’ notice is required for order changes.
Note: Once details of an order have been forwarded to production or shipping, we may not be able to make changes.
Damages and Issues
We encourage customers to inspect their orders upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at info@christmasgiftbaskets.com so that we can address the issue and make it right.
Delivery Delays
While we strive to ensure the timely delivery of all orders, we do not accept responsibility for delays caused by third-party courier companies. Customers experiencing delays should contact the courier company directly for assistance.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns under any circumstances. Certain items are also strictly non-returnable, including
- Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, or plants)
- Custom products (e.g., special orders or personalized items)
- Personal care items (e.g., beauty products)
Substitution Policy
At Christmas Gift Baskets, we take great pride in curating premium-quality gift baskets that delight our customers and recipients. While we make every effort to fulfill each order exactly as described, there may be rare occasions where substitutions are necessary due to product availability, seasonality, or unforeseen supply chain constraints.
Our Substitution Policy ensures that all replacements uphold the quality, value, and theme of your selected gift while maintaining a seamless gifting experience.
Guidelines for Product Substitutions
Equal or Higher Value
- Any substituted item will be of equal or greater value than the original product to maintain the overall premium quality of the gift basket.
- We will never reduce the value of your basket due to substitutions.
Maintaining Theme & Aesthetic
- We carefully select substitutes that align with the original theme, flavor profile, and presentation of the basket.
- If a specific gourmet item is unavailable, we will replace it with a similar product to preserve the intended experience of the basket.
Dietary & Special Requests
- For customers with dietary preferences or restrictions (e.g., kosher, gluten-free, vegan, or nut-free), we will only substitute with items that adhere to those requirements.
- If an appropriate substitute is unavailable, we will reach out to discuss alternatives or provide a store credit option.
Perishable & Seasonal Products
- If a fresh or seasonal product is unavailable (e.g., fruits, chocolates, gourmet cheeses), we will replace it with the best available alternative that ensures freshness and quality.
- Seasonal variations may occur in specialty gift baskets, especially during peak holiday periods.
Balloons, Decorative Elements & Packaging
- If a specific balloon, ribbon, wrapping, or decorative item is unavailable, we will select the closest possible alternative while ensuring that the overall presentation remains elegant and visually appealing.
Limited Communication for Minor Substitutions
- Minor substitutions, such as a different brand of a similar product, may be made without prior notice to prevent order delays.
Recipient Satisfaction Guarantee
- If the recipient is dissatisfied with the substituted items, they may contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will assess the issue and work towards a fair resolution, which may include a replacement or store credit at our discretion.
- Please note that we do not issue refunds.
